Zinc stearate （RCOOZnOOCR）is the zinc salt of octadecanoic acidand hexadecanoic acid, and appears as a white powder or granules. It is insoluble in water, but is soluble in organic solventssuch as carbon tetrachloride, turpentine and pyridine. Zinc stearate decomposes upon exposure to acid, has no vulcanization pollution, and is non-toxic. Its flash point is 276.7℃, autoignition temperature and melting point is 421.1℃, and lower explosive limit is 11.6g/m3. It is mainly used as a non-toxic stabilizing agent for polyvinyl chloride, lubricant for cosmetics, powder metallurgy, mold release agent for plastic products, and vulcanization accelerator for rubber products.

Main Uses :

1、Used as an additive agent in polyolefin resin production. The recommended dosage is 500ppm. The actual dosage depends on the catalytic activity.

2、Used as a lubricant and non-toxic stabilizing agent in the plasticindustry.

3、Used as a vulcanization accelerator for rubber products.

4、Used in the paint and cosmetics industries.

Packaging :

Powder: packaged in coated paper bags, each of which has a net weight of 20 kilograms.

Granules: packaged in snakeskin bags, each of which has a net weight of 500 kilograms.

Storage and Transportation Precautions :

Store in a cool and dry place, away from acids and alkali. Usage of hooks is strictly forbidden when loading and unloading. During transport, avoid exposure to heat and moisture, and do not package with acid and alkali substances.
