GX-5 is an economic and highly effective polypropylene β crystallization type nucleating agent. Through inducing βcrystallization, β crystallized polypropylene of a high β crystallization content can be attained, giving the product excellent resistance against impact, heat distortion and high porosity. This organically unifies the two conflicting aspects of polypropylene: impact resistance and thermal deformation.GX-5 is especially suitable for PP-R pipe products, automobiles, electronic appliances, and other modified PP products that require high impact and thermal deformation resistance. It can also be used for processinghigh porosity, printable thin film products.

Application Features：

GX-5 is an economic and highly effective polypropylene β crystallization type nucleating agent that accelerates crystallization rate, crystallinity and the conversion rate of β. This gives the product excellent impact resistance, thermal deformation performance and high porosity. Test data show that adding 0.3% GX-5 to isotactic and atactic PP, theβ crystallization conversion rate will reach up to90%. This will significantly raise its impact resistance and thermal distortion temperature. Its impact resistance will improve 4-5 times and thermal deformation temperature will attain approximately 127℃.Compared with other β crystallization nucleating agents, GX-5 features advantages of no color, product workability improvement, low cost, and stable β crystallization. This product can be directly used with PP powder or made into a masterbatchin advance to be used in the second processing. The recommended dosage is 0.1-0.3% of PP material.
